Lovely Hand Carved Bookends Dogs German Shepherd and Boxer ca. 1920

These bookends are really something special. They are made of wood and show two majestic, hand carved dogs. Both are well done and show their special qualities. The boxer has an intelligent and vigilant face; the shepherd a jovial and observant one.

The base is dark stained; the dogs are made of natural color wood. The condition is very good, the shepherd dog is re-fixed o his pedestal.

Measurements: 6 inches in height, 5 inches in width and 3.2 inches in depth.
