19th Century Hand Carved Bobbin Holder Bone

A lovely piece for the collector of sewing tools!

This bobbin holder is made of bone and has the shape of a barrel. Inside the original wooden baton for the bobbin (0.2 inches in diameter).

The condition of the bobbin holder is very good; there are two fine cracks to report (normal for this material). The age patina is wonderful.

Measurements: 1.4 inches in length and 1 inch in diameter.
