Hand Carved Book Slide Expandable Book Rack - Manufactory of Huggler ca. 1900

This excellent hand carved book rack is coming from the famous Swiss work shop of Huggler near Interlaken. The carvings are extremely fine done. The ends of the rack show two lovely carved bears with shoe button eyes staying on a rock.

The rack is in very good condition, the wood patina amazing.

The rack measures 12.4 inches in length and can be expanded to 19.4 inches. The width is 5.8 inches.
