Ridgway Blue Transfer Staffordshire Oriental Covered Server 19th century
Offered for sale is this fine covered oval vegetable server in the popular "Oriental" blue transferware pattern by Ridgway. It dates to the late 19th century and is accented with gilt decoration on the rims and handles. It has the Ridgway Oriental beehive mark on the the underside.
The piece stands 6 inches tall by 11 3/8 inches long by 8 5/8 inches wide. It weighs 2 lbs 14 oz (shipping weight 4 lbs).
Condition: The piece is in excellent condition. No cracks or chips; minor rubbing on the gilt rims and a few utensil marks in the interior of the bowl. Please see the detail photos below.
