Aesthetic Japonesque Staffordshire Compote Tazza 1880s

Offered for sale is this Aesthetic compote in the Japonesque style made in the 1880s in Staffordshire. Molded in one piece, it is decorated with transferware and hand painted enamels. It is unmarked except for some painter's numbers in red.

The piece stands 5 1/8 inches tall by 9 3/4 inches wide. It weighs 2 lbs 8 oz (shipping weight 5 lbs).

Condition: The piece is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. It does have some crazing of the glaze, as is usual with antique pottery pieces. Please see the detail photos below.
