Ridgway Old Malborough Coaching Days Plate 1913
Offered for sale is this very pretty "Old Malborough" plate from Ridgway's Old England Ware series. The plate shows a colorful street scene with a landscape border. The plate measures 10 inches wide.
The plate has a Ridgway backstamp with the title "Old England Ware Coaching Days". It has the pattern registration number 615802, which dates the design to 1913.
Condition: the plate is is very good condition with no chips or cracks. It does have fine clear crazing of the glaze. There is a small area of staining on the back of the plate, but no staining on the front.
