Here for your consideration is this vintage Halloween collectable, a Goblin Lantern Halloween decoration. This scary fellow is a pressed cardboard composition material that is hand painted. These lanterns cast a spooky glow visible through its eyes and mouth when illuminated. The decorations were made in Germany beginning in 1920s and 1930s and again using the same materials and techniques at the end of the Cold war when the Berlin wall fell in early1990s. This spooky little goblin is of the later production offered for a small fraction of the earlier version. They were popular decorations imported for decorating at Halloween. The Goblin lantern measures approximately 7 by 3 inches and will display nicely. This Goblin is in excellent condition as you can see in the pictures. Here is your opportunity to make this decoration your own. They would make a great addition to any Halloween collection or a wonderful gift for someone special.
