Here for your consideration is this wonderful paper mache double face Jack O’ Lantern pumpkin! This is made of composition “egg crate” molded paper pulp with orange paint. When you put on your window sill people outside can see the spooky sight! These lanterns are becoming rarer today; they were made for Halloween and usually were disposed of soon thereafter. Those that remain were roughed up by child’s play or just in storage. This lantern is in excellent vintage condition with paint loss and small rubs consistent with its age. The inserts have been replaced. This type lantern is American made circa 1940s and 1950s.It is a larger size approximately 6” high by 7”wide. Just for you a very nice lantern to light up your Halloween night. Here is your opportunity to own this frightful fellow ……………….Boo!
