Here for your consideration is this beautiful old die cut made from heavily embossed cardboard accented with mica glitter and in near mint condition. It depicts a beautiful castle overlooking a shimmering blue lake with a stunning peacock nearby observing a sailboat on the water. A touch of a Villa on the ocean in summer to sail away a cure for the winter blues. It is pretty accented by a lovely bouquet of flowers. This is a LARGE die cut and measures 15 ¼" wide x 9 ½" tall. Vintage diecuts such as this one were sold in the 1920s and 1930s to hold paper calendars that were inserted into the cardboard folder and were used as advertising vehicles that were given out at Christmas time. Traditionally, these diecuts were then displayed throughout the year in the family home or business. This particular example would make a nice accent for your cozy home. This one of a kind die cut was made in Czechoslovakia embossed and stamped one the reverse. It is in Near MINT CONDITION as you can see by the pictures. The tabs at the ends of the folder, placed there to house the paper calendar, have never even been folded or inserted into the slots. Here is your opportunity to make this die cut your own or it would make a wonderful gift!
