Here for your consideration is this beautiful sterling silver snowflake ornament/medallion made by the Gorham Company in 1983, 13th year in the annual series of snowflake ornaments. The snowflake is made from sterling silver and the year mark date on the front is gold filled. What makes this particular snowflake special is that it is the 3rd year that the Gorham Company issued these snowflakes with the gold filled year mark on the front. Previous years were unmarked on the front but all Gorham's snowflake ornaments are hallmarked on the reverse. The gold filled date mark makes it special. This ornament is in very nice vintage condition with no dents, dings or pings, but it will exhibit minor scratches consistent with use and polishing and age. This lovely decoration comes with an original tarnish proof pouch and original box. As with all vintage silver, may require proper polishing upon receipt depending on your preferences.
