Here for your consideration is this is a wonderful old Santa in his sleigh die cut in a honeycomb tissue paper basket. This delicate collectable decoration was made by the Beistle Company in the 1920s. This clever decoration folds flat for storage or for display. You can open the decoration to form a basket made from honeycomb tissue paper. The honeycomb is in very good vintage condition but it has faded over the years as you can see by the pictures. The die cut is in very good condition with dings and wear consistent with its age. The tabs to keep it open are worn off because of use over the years and cannot be used to keep the honeycomb open. A easy remedy is to use paper clips! The graphics are outstanding and it displays well. The decoration measures approximately 7 ¼ inches high by 9 inches across. This Santa collectable in this condition is quite rare and not often seen. Here is your opportunity to make this Santa your own! It would make a wonderful addition to any Santa Collector’s collection or a wonderful gift.
