Rare and truly fantastic this early 1900's Sterling peacock Brooch is extremely well crafted with deep etched, open cut and repousse work detail. It is puffed and solid. Also features a turquoise stone eye and open cut feature design on the feathers at the top of it's head. Substantial weight of 25 solid grams. Has a secure although slightly bent c clasp pin and closure. Has patina on the back and minor to none on the front. I couldn't resist cleaning the front which brought it further to life. Beautiful in every way it is marked silver made in Mexico on the back. Measures 3 5/8'L and 2' W at the bottom.
