BEST American Victorian carved wood jewelry casket
Simply the best American and most superb mid Victorian carved wood jewelry casket I have had the pleasure to own. Fresh from a MA Estate and never before offered on the market. Retaining it's original key, it's a sizable piece at 5" high by 10 1/2" long by 7 1/2" wide. The plaque on the top reads "Mary Whitcomb" and was looks to be gilt silver. Some of the gilding is wearing as shown. In all original, never refinished condition.
