Vintage Blue Ridge Southern Potteries Serving Platter

Unique 1950's pattern from Southern Potteries. Platter measures 15 1/4" long and 12 1/2" wide. Pattern is known as "spider web" pink with black lines and pink background.The shape is known as "Skyline". Blue Ridge Pottery was the product of Southern Potteries of Erwin Tennessee. The companies most successful years were the 1940's and early 1950's, before post World War II plastics started entering the marketplace. This piece is retired and collectible, as Southern Potteries closed its doors of production in 1957. Condition is excellent overall, platter still has full glossy glaze, no knife marks, or crazing. There is a 1/4" chip on the underside. Price is marked down considerably due to the chip.
