This absolutely unusual one-of-a-kind dated 1832 black and white intricately-woven beaded necklace has the phrase "and how great the virtue and the art to live on little with a cheerful heart". Unfortunately, it is missing a few words at the beginning, but who cares - it's one of the most fabulous pieces I've ever owned. It has all of the Victorian symbols of the time - anchor, cross, heart, diamond, and key, along with maybe a cat or dog. This incredible 40 inch long and 1/4 inch wide one hundred and eighty-one year old heirloom is something that should be shared with your family and passed down to your children for generations to come.
Naturally eco-friendly and green, antiques are the ultimate in helping the environment.
