This pen would look good on any desk top,and is in excellent antique condition. It measures about five inches from top to bottom. **Antique glass dip pens were produced from the 1840's to the 1930's, and were hand made in France, England, the US, Italy and Japan. Some of the most fabulous brightly-colored glass was produced at the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company. The Corning Glass Works produced a red, white and blue souvenir glass pen in its own glass tube for the New York World's Fair in 1939, and I have had a few of these incredible one-of-a-kind pieces here in the shop. Collect and enjoy this unique antique object today.

This special piece has been part of our personal 125 piece antique pen and pencil collection that appeared at the Cooper Hewitt Museum of Design's Reading and Writing Exhibit in 1980 in New York City. An article appeared in the New York Times, which you can Google. It is now time to share all of these valuable and memorable pieces with antique lovers all over the world. There are more, so please enjoy!
