Arzberg Bavaria Art Deco Signed Hand-Painted Porcelain Swan Vase Dated 1930
This absolutely beautiful pastel Art Deco scenic hand-painted porcelain vase signed by Joey Bendrick and dated 1930, is a stunning example of those very creative times. The piece is hallmarked Arzberg Bavaria with Germany in a circle. Arzberg is a trademark of a German manufacturer of porcelain founded in 1887 in Arzberg, Bavaria. The hallmark on this piece was used from 1928 to 1946. Our artist seemed to capture a scenic group of graceful swans swimming in a pond surrounded by lilies. This keeper of a piece measures 6 inches tall x over 4 1/2 inches wide and almost 2 3/4 inches deep. The deep, rich gold leaf neck and bottom rim are in fine antique condition, as well as the rest of this beautifully painted treasure. It would make the most fabulous centerpiece filled with lilies at your next dinner party.
This piece is part of our personal collection that has been stashed away for more than 30 years, and we are now ready to share with the world.
