This is an absolutely gorgeous Victorian mother of pearl and gold-filled Palais-Royale umbrella handle from about 1870-1880, and is just waiting to be attached to your favorite umbrella. It has the most incredible repousse work on the handle and the mother of pearl has an iridescence about it, especially since it's been cut and pieced into sections. This special piece measures almost 6 1/2 inches long (not counting the metal part), and is in great antique condition. It could be added to your collection or just put on your coffee table for interesting conversation, or made into a walking stick—it's that fabulous. These kinds of antique treasures are not easy to find.

This special gem has been part of our personal collection and has been stashed away in a trunk for over 30 years (really!). It's now time to take it out and share with antique lovers all over the world, so enjoy!
