Antique Black and White French Enamel Guilloche Chatelaine Compact on Ring

This absolute beauty of a compact has all of the elements of a special heirloom collector's piece. It's top has a solid black enamel border, while inside is a spectacular white iridescent French guilloche, designed with a bouquet of little pink apple blossoms and leaves in the center. The compact's sides are solid white enamel, while the chatelaine linked chain is black enamel,with a little finger ring. Inside the compact is a crescent-shaped mirror in good condition, with a space for powder and rouge. It is marked sterling and British hallmarked a crown, the letter "T" and a passant,with the number 3451 on the inside bottom, and the number 9C on both the inside of the top and bottom. The compact is in very good antique condition with a few little marks from age,and measures 2 inches in diameter. It would make a fabulous engagement, bridesmaid or special gift for the bride-to-be for "Something Old".

This special gem has been part of our personal collection and has been stashed away in a trunk for over 30 years (really!). It's now time to take it out and share with antique lovers all over the world, so enjoy!
