"Girl Shopping" Hand Painted Iridescent Porcelain Art Deco Brooch

This authentic Art Deco iridescent porcelain oval brooch is so indicative of that wonderful 1920's period. Our young-silhouetted shopper is dressed "to the nines" holding all of her treasured purchases, including her little pet dog on a leash. The artists' incredible style and color combination of blue, black and white in stripes and checks is so fabulous to look at, especially in silhouette. She looks like she's had a very successful day and has found exactly what she wanted. This brooch would be so much fun to wear and would be a great conversation piece! It measures 2 ¼" long x 1 ¾" wide and is backed in solid brass with a "C" closure. It is in great antique condition, with one or two tiny marks from age on the right top.

This piece is part of our personal collection that has been stashed away for more than 30 years, and we are now ready to share with the world.
