Vintage Camel / Horse Decoration Hand Stitched Mirrored Inserts & Shells Afghanistan
This is a beautiful piece that is hand made. The stitching is very tiny and well done. There are fractures on some of the mirrored pieces. I was told that this was an ornament that was used on a camel. The woman I purchased this from was stationed in Japan after WWII and traveled extensively. She had a large collection of camel saddles and blankets. I really think this will look great as a wall hanging. It can use a good cleaning. It comes from a smoke free home. The measurements are: 14 1/2" including the shell trim and 9" wide.The tassels are approx. 4" long. Condition is good especially considering the use and age.Please e-mail with any questions.
