Stunning Vintage Chinese Cinnabar Asian Carved Filigree Brooch Pin

This is a lovely Estate Chinese Vintage carved brooch / pin that is a rich Cinnabar color, I believe it is made of wood. The carving is very lively and deep. This pin is from the 40's. The frame is a beautiful brass filigree design that has a rolled edge so it feels so smooth. The brass has a warm patina. The pin back is a fold over style. The back of the pin reads "China". This is an amazing vintage piece that will be a wonderful addition to your Asian jewelry collection. I have enjoyed it for many years. It was purchased from a South Texas Estate.
