Late 19th C. Staffordshire Hen On Nest

Offered for sale is a delightful French Bisque Hen sitting on a Staffordshire basket-weave nest. The hen is hand painted in an array of beautiful colors and is perched on her eggs.

The hen is in excellent condition; the basket has some age related wear to the enamels and a few craze lines to the bottom.

Size: 7 1/2" Height x 8" Length.
