Presented for sale is a dark blue and white transferware Staffordshire plate depicting Wistow Hall in Leicestershire. Wistow Hall was built in the 17th century for Richard Halford, Baronetage of England. The pattern is known as part of the Foliage Border Series and is a named scene, circa 1810.
The plate is in excellent condition.
