Western Painting of Covered Wagons by Manuel Merida Ruiz

The painting charmingly depicts settlers and the hardships of life in the 19th century as they made their way through the incredible mountainous landscapes of the Western United States. The painting is set into a custom wooden frame with oval insert. Although the signature does not show with the frame, it is signed M M Merida, the signed name of 20th century artist Manuel Munoz Merida Ruiz, (1948- ).

The painting is in excellent condition, the frame exhibits minor restoration and cleaning.
