B.C. Ceramics Wildlife Series By Herta Loons Figurine

Offered here is another wonderful piece of ceramic design from Herta Gertz for BC Ceramics. The wildlife series was satin matte pottery pieces on wood (walnut?) bases. This is a pair of loons posing on a pile of rocks. They are covered in a satin matte glaze of caramel and chocolate browns. It stands 6 1/8" high, including the base, and is marked as shown.

There are no chips, cracks, fleabites or stains.
