Vintage Norcrest Yellow Bird Covered Dresser Jar

Norcrest produced many bluebird themed items but not many with yellow birds. This covered jar was made to sit on a dresser and hold odds and ends. Adorable bird is covered with a red and yellow glaze with black highlights. The main body is shaped like a cherry tree stump with bits of hanging fruit. Main glaze colors on stump are 3 shades of green and a dark red for the cherries. Jar measures 5" high and 3 3/8" in diameter.

There are no chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs. The edge of the lid does show minor paint loss which can be seen in the pictures. Very nice piece that is not commonly found.
