Vintage Burgess and Leigh Burleigh Ware Pixie Imp Plate
Vintage 1940's Burleigh Ware decorative plate from the pixie line. The design is quite colorful with a brown eyed susan flower motif with a pixie holding on to the edge. Plate measures 17.5cm ( 6 7/8") in diameter. The high gloss glaze colors are a pale yellow, brown and grass green for the flower form and dark green and brown for the pixie. The base is marked as shown and does date from the 1940's.
There are no chips, cracks, fleabites or signs of use.
