West German Fat Lava Otto Keramik Mushroom Lamp

Super rare desk lamp from Otto Keramik is shaped like a toadstool or mushroom. The cap forms the shade and is filled with holes that allow the light to illuminate the area. Earth tone glazes used are a brown matte base with frothy lava in white and chocolate brown. The base has a felt covering. Lamp measures 25.5cm ( 10") in height and the cap is about 23cm ( 9") in diameter. There are no factory marks. The lamp has all original wiring and works as shown.

There are no chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs. The switch is wheel operated and does stick a little bit. Lamp is all original and would date from the 1960's.
