Czech Pottery Mexican Man With Cache Pot Planter
Vivid and colorful example from this oft repeated design. This well figured piece has better detailing than examples from Japan. The glazes are a mix of satin matte and gloss and include yellow, black, orange and tan. Planter measures 4 3/4"X5 1/2"X3 1/2". No marks visible.
As shown, there is some age crazing to the jar and some glaze rubs but there are no chips, cracks or fleabites. Nice early example dates from the 1930's.
