Beswick Large Leaf Basket Vase ~ Model 819

Produced between 1940 and 1972, this impressive design by Mr.Watkin is quite unique. The organic design has a large vertical leaf front and back and the body forms a continuous loop in the form of a leaf. The satin matte glaze is in shades of blue and green with yellow and brown drip accents. It measures 30cm ( 11 7/8") high and 26cm ( 10 1/4") wide. The base is impressed with the model number.

There are no chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs. It appears that this was only ever displayed and not used as a planter.
