Clarice Cliff Model 310 Applique Candlesticks ~ Unlisted

Offered here is this unlisted set of Clarice Cliff Wilkinson Ltd candlesticks. According to the catalogs, these are model 310 items and would date from the early to mid 1930's. This pattern does not have a name but is similar to the Gibraltar line. The applique decoration is a ship sailing on the water with red, yellow and purple trees with green and lilac mountains and blue and orange clouds in the background. The colorways are a delph or cerulean blue with a mother of pearl top and black banding accent.

They measure 8cm high with a base diameter of 11.5cm and a top diameter of 7cm. The only markings are the Wilkinson Ltd company stamp and the hand lettered number 8411.

There are no chips or cracks but the transfer decoration shows some wear. These have never been restored. There is over all crazing as shown. There is some glaze roughness on 1 piece. There is also a glaze skip on the top of one piece. More pictures available on request. This appears to be an undiscovered pattern. According to the CCCC, a new pattern has not been found since 2006.
