Offered here is a nice large example of Crown Devon pottery from the 1940's. Pad foot forms 3 large flutes that carry to the top of the vase. All around the body, concentric rings gradually grow wider and wider apart. Lovely piece has room presence. The interior is a high gloss ivory with a mint green exterior with muted white sponge effect. The vase stands 22.5cm (8 3/4") high with a rim diameter of 15.5cm (6"). The base stamp was used circa 1939 and the model number is 474.
There are no chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs. The rim has a glazed over low spot.
