Vintage McCoy Chipmunk Cookie Jar

Produced by McCoy pottery in 1961-62, this cookie jar has a figural chipmunk enjoying his horde of acorns. Rustic colors in what was described as brown spray over ivory with dark green and black. All done in a high gloss glaze treatment. Measures 10 1/4" high and is marked on the base McCoy USA.

There is some age crazing to the base as shown but this can be cleaned up with a peroxide soak. The last 2 pictures show a couple shallow chips on the underside of the lid. Displays beautifully.
