Vintage 1920's Fairy Gardener Salt & Pepper Shakers

Fantastic and unusual pair of shakers have a childish fairy with a watering can. Made after the astounding success of the Cottingley Fairies of 1917-18 when the belief was at an all time high. These are quite scarce and are colorfully glazed in baby blue, yellow and green. Each shaker is 3 1/2" high and is ink stamped on the base as shown.

There are some minor glaze skips as shown but there are no chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs.There is some minor age crazing as shown.
