Unusual Salesman Sample Bakelite Handled Beer Bottle Opener

This 1940's era bottle opener is somewhat unusual in that it was made as a salesman sample to show the various color combinations available. This was sample L9 which was ivory yellow with green bands with diamond decorations and brown writing. The cartoon man is tossing his hat away as he walks with briefcase in hand to the family grill & tavern. Measures 4" in length.

There are no chips or cracks. The "A" in family is half worn off.
