Zuni Sterling Double Turquoise Cluster Drop Style Earrings for Pierced Ears

The turquoise is a wonderful aqua color with almost no matrix. These earrings have a 2 1/4 inch drop from the post to the bottom of the earring. Each earring is composed of 2 petit point clusters. One is round and the other is oval. The round cluster has a 1 inch diameter and consists of 10 pieces of petit turquoise surrounding a round piece of turquoise. The round cluster has japanned background and there is a silver bead between the turquoise on the outer edge of the cluster.

Hanging from the round cluster is an oval cluster measuring 1 1/2 inches by 1 inch. In the center of the oval cluster is 2 pieces of petit point turquoise separated from each other by a silver bead and around outer edge of the center 2 pieces of petit point is twisted wire decoration. There are 19 pieces of bezel set with serrated edges petit point turquoise around the outer edge if the oval cluster. The petit point turquoise is separated from each other by silver beads around the outer edge. The background of the oval cluster is japanned.

The earrings are marked 'Sterling' and 'B' which is the maker's mark. The earrings weight 18.6 grams.
