Offered for sale: Southwestern cuff style bracelet in Sterling Silver and Sleeping Beauty turquoise.
The bracelet measures 1 1/4 inches in the center and tapers to 1/2 of an inch on the ends. Arranged across the top of the 4 wire cuff are 7 brilliant blue pieces of turquoise with bits of iron pyrite in the blacken matrix. I believe the turquoise is Sleeping Beauty turquoise from Globe,Az.
The bezel set with serrated edges pieces of turquoise range from the largest piece of turquoise which measures 1 1/8 inches by 3/4 inches to the smallest piece of turquoise which measures 5/8 inches by 1/2 of an inch. Separating the pieces of turquoise on the top and bottom are large silver beads. The edges of the bracelet flare out in the center of the bracelet in order to be able to accommodate the pieces of turquoise. This is a little different than the traditional line style bracelet.
The bracelet weights a substantial 104 grams. On either side of the turquoise on the ends of the bracelet are pieces of silver overlay arranged across all of the wire to stabilize the bracelet. The bracelet measures 6 6 1/8 inches without the opening . The opening measures a little more than 1 inch. The bracelet has a lot of silver. The thickness of the silver would make it hard to change the size. The bracelet is marked 'Sterling' on one of the end bars which are under the ends of each side. On the other end of the bracelet on a bar under the end is a maker's mark. I can not make out the hallmark.
