Offered for sale: Vintage turquoise cluster bracelet in Sterling Silver.
The turquoise in this bracelet is a beautiful deep blue with a touch of green color highlighted by the iron pyrite that is sprinkled across the turquoise and adds a sparkling touch. The turquoise appears to be Kingman turquoise which is known for its round nuggets, deep blue color, and black matrix. The top of the bracelet has a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. The turquoise nuggets are bezel set with serrated edges. The bracelet is made up of a single nugget surrounded by 2 rows of nuggets separated from each other by twisted wire decoration. The nuggets that are on the edge of the bracelet are separated from each other by small silver conchos. The background of the bracelet is japanned ( blackened ).
The bracelet is a 3 wire bracelet going from 2 1/2 inches in the middle down to 1/4 of an inch on the ends. There is stabilizer bar on each side of the center cluster which is 4 pear shape pieces of silver with silver conchos on top. The bracelet wights 65 grams.
The bracelet is Sterling Silver. It is marked '925' in the middle of the Running Bear maker's mark. The bracelet measures 5 1/2 inches around the inside without the opening. The opening measures 1 1/8 inches.
