These sweet candy containers are a cute couple!!! The rabbit has big shiny green eyeglasses, a red crepe paper bow tie and a charming lilt to his head as if he is listening to her. His painted nose and mouth almost give him a mustache! He is marked "Container Made in Germany" underneath so they must be pre-war. One tiny fleck of blue is off his back. The Chick wears a sweet shiny green hat, and is always talking, her decal eyes wide with expression. She has lost her neck ornament and has a bit of wear to the edge of the hat. A bit of ribbon and a flower and she will be so happy! She has only a price written in pencil underneath. The inside of the egg bodies are clean with a pretty lavender pattern paper. The spring necks are strong and secure, and wiggle for a long time~ ready to go another 60 years! Both have a slight overall crackle to the surface. He measures 7-1/2" tall, she is 6-1/2" tall.
