Antique German Porcelain Foo Dog Bracket Shelf BIG c1810
At least 200 years old and most likely of Dresden or Volkstedt make and is very likely to be 18c from the Chinoiserie influenced era. Very large at 12 3/4" tall and 12 3/4" across the back of the wooden top, 7" deep. The food dog is loose and there are some chips to the flowers on the side. All hand painted with courting couple and I do not see any repairs other than this possibly being re-mounted to the board, and the foo dog will need to be securely reapplied. Hopefully the pictures will clear this up. A great true antique wall shelf!
