Antique English Stourbridge Emerald Green Wine Glass Stem w/Prunts

This piece really threw me as the construction is not normal. It dates from the 19th century and is very unusual as it is ribbed throughout including the hollow center stem which is prunted as shown. Excellent condition. Smartly polished pontil. Bowl is applied directly to the stem which was done while they were both hot! Measures about 6" tall and 2 1/2" diameter....just a very unusual example. Almost has a naturalistic feel to it...very high quality.
