Vintage German Austrian Hand Carved Stone Green Obsidian Fish Carving Sculpture

This is unsigned, but of extremely fine quality. I believe this is German or Austrian and hand carved obsidian that has a green cast. This is large and finely detailed. Amazingly fine work especially to fins upon close inspection. Measures about 6 3/8" long, 3 1/16" tall so is quite large and heavy. I believe this is about 30 to 40 years old and was most likely a mobile as it would have been on a thin rod, but works well just resting on its fins. Excellent condition. I believe the eyes are glass?
