Antique Val St Lambert Cobalt Gilt Glass Cameo Vase Signed Brass Overlay

Large at about 11 3/4" tall and 3 5/8" diameter and signed Val St Lambert in relief. I have not been able to find another example such as this. Great raised cobalt floral design which repeats three times. This vase was made by the design being acid etched into the blue glass then the glass was mounted - in this case it looks like bronze or brass. There is one spot on the base that looks like it was pushed out, and I believe there is a repair, but I cannot photograph it and I would not have known had it not been pointed out to me. There is also a line within the glass I cannot feel along the top rim which looks like a heat check, but I cannot catch or feel it. Great piece that dates to c1915 era. I think this is a must for a collector. Has a very secessionist feel to it. A very highly designed and thought out piece.
