Fabulous 19th century Limoges or Parisian hand painted and jeweled square plate or tray. The porcelain was made by Sevres in the 18th century, and then decorated at Limoges or in Paris in the early 19th. Features 2 cherubs riding/playing with a dolphin. Ambiguously signed lower left....looks like "Sabaurin", but cannot make it out for certain. Measures about 6 1/8" by 6 1/8" or so. There is one minuscule flake to a backside edge as photographed, otherwise excellent original condition. Marked with "bb" mark on back. Very solid and extremely well done. Hopefully the photos can do this justice. The quality definitely rivals Sevres and likely a Sevres artist painted this to be this fine.
