Super hard to find color on this 12" tall enamel overlay glass vase. Gilt and hand cut panels in gothic style. Very heavy and solid. I think the top rim was very lightly polished in spots as one chip I can see has been minimized......I mention and photograph for the record. There is also a small hole in the base that was an air bubble that popped and had been trapped in between the cased layers of glass....original to the piece. A great piece for display! Still retains some floral gilt and accent work as shown. Is almost certainly by Josephinenhutte although these are often mistakenly attributed to Moser, and sometimes Harrach. Almost all of the Bohemian paneled portrait and enamel pieces were actually produced by Josephinenhutte......they are the true champions of glass in the mid 19th century in Europe although Moser gets all the press. I have reduced the price by 30% and I will now include shipping and insurance within the US.,and I will reduce international shipping substantially.
