Antique Art Nouveau Mens .75ct Diamond Solitaire Band RIng in 18k Gold, sz 11

At the winking center of a veritable forest of leaves is a fabulous and extremely clean and bright .75 carat mine cut diamond. The 18 karat gold mounting is a size 11 and a weighty 7.9 grams. The band is 8 mm wide at the widest point. This ring is mark on the outside of the shank but the mark is very worn and no longer legible. Likely it's French in origin and dates to about 1890-1900, it certainly shows an early Art Nouveau influence in it's naturalistic form, even the mounting of the diamond is done using the leaf pattern of the ring.

This ring has been sized up at some point and the top of it does show signs of having been slightly cracked in the process. It was very well repaired and is perfectly stable, but I would be remiss not to mention it. It could not be sized up any more without risking re-cracking it, it likely could go down a bit. Please inquire about a specific size or size range and I'll inquire for you. I've had my jeweler test it and it tests as 18 karat.

This ring would make a fantastic wedding or engagement ring for a man or a woman!
