Antique Victorian Ruby and Diamond Ring in 18k Gold

This wonderful 18 karat gold hand made ring features deeply carved scrolling shoulders and elegant lines. The round faceted center ruby measures 5.4 mm x 3.6 mm deep and weighs about .76 carats, the other two rubies are about 3.9 mm x 2.1 mm deep and weight about .24 carats each for a total ruby weight of 1.24 carats, they are a rich plummy red in color and slightly included with very light abrasions only visible with a 10x jewelers loupe. The four diamonds are old European cuts and weigh about .12 carats total. The ring is a size 5.75 and could be resized up or down, it weighs 3.1 grams. It is marked '18' indicating gold content, it was most likely made in England in about 1900.
