One perfect one carat cushion cut diamond is the jewel in this crown of a ring! I mean, come on, I like to play the Princess as much as any girl, and even though Princess Catherine (face it Cat, we all call you Kate!) was given a big ole' sapphire ringed in glowing diamonds, we all know that the real Princess rings look just like this one!
A perfect, sparkling, solitaire diamond ring. The platinum mount forms a lovely crown which is set with a gorgeous old Cushion Cut diamond, cut back in the days when cutting diamonds was an art form all to itself. The stone measures 6 mm up and down and 5.5 mm across, it's 3.75 mm deep and that makes it just about 1 carat right on the nose. Set on each side are two small old mine cut diamonds, because even the most beautiful ladies need a little back-up! The stone is eye clean and I can see two very small inclusions with a 10 power jewelers loupe. It draws a little color in indoor light but appears bright white in daylight. I'll happily provide a GIA appraisal upon request if you'd like more specifics (please note that this adds 7-10 days to order shipping).
A wonderful, Princess perfect, classical engagement ring. This ring weighs 2.4 grams and is a size 7.5, it could easily be sized. Made around 1915.
