The color of early spring after a morning rain, I just simply couldn't resist this early Victorian masterwork of a ring. Five chartreuse cabochon chrysoberyl gems of such an usual color that it gives one pause are set in the Revivalist style of the mid nineteenth century, accented with mill grained mounts and tiny bead work.
Hand crafted in 18 karat gold around 1850, this ring is surely English in origin. The stones are set into closed back mountings to showcase their unique color. This is a ring which should not be gotten very wet, best to take it off when showering or washing hands. It is a size 7.5 and could be sized with some care. It weighs 2.2 grams.
